What is special about urban living in a suburban community?
There are numerous urban options available throughout downtown Columbus and the Short North district. The convenience and location of The Residences differentiates itself for those looking for the urban setting but not ready to commit fully to living in a downtown environment. Gahanna is pedestrian friendly, safe and conveniently located near the Airport, New Albany, Bexley, and Easton.
How does parking work?
Contrary to many other developments, all units at The Residences of Creekside include at least two reserved parking spaces (with the exception of the efficiency residence which includes 1 parking space), with the opportunity to purchase additional parking spaces if needed.
The parking structure at The Residences is very unique. There is a parking tower in the middle of the building that, in most cases, enables residents to drive up and park on the same floor as their residence. No other development offers this amenity.
Do you have storage spaces?
A limited number of storage spaces are available for purchase, and sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
What are your interior finish options? Are the interior selections/options pre-determined?
The Stonehenge Company adheres to a philosophy that for your property to appreciate in value, it must be custom and unique. Each client works with our in-house designer to choose finishes for their residence that suits their needs. Although initial layouts are shown by unit type, Stonehenge is willing to work with clients and make necessary adjustment to create the ideal floor plan for each individual.
In addition, instead of choosing from a few typical cabinet or granite selections, Stonehenge has a full-scale design center with hundreds of choices to choose from classic, transitional and modern. And if you can't find what you're looking for in our design center, let us know, and we will bring it in for you.
How much are the condo fees?
Condo fees range from $132 to $557 per month. This includes all service and maintenance of the common areas, including the rooftop pool, fitness center, outdoor patio and grill, club room, dog run, security, and natural gas service for each residential unit. Why are more people not currently living at Creekside?
Considering the nature of the project, the goal was to initially complete the public areas and retail component, yet it made sense to build all the buildings, including The Residences, at once. Now that the majority of the other areas are complete, we have started focusing on finishing and closing the residential units at The Residences of Creekside. To date, approximately 30% of The Residences are in contract and as of July 2009, 8% have closed and are living at The Residences. We expect numerous more to close within the next 12 months.
